Our house has been in family ownership for 55 years and is one of the traditional houses on the Planneralm. We offer double rooms with balcony - with extra beds on request - and family rooms with separate sleeping areas. Families with several children especially appreciate this flexibility. Our inn is located in the midst of the highest ski and mountain village in Styria, situated in the municipality of Irdning-Donnersbachtal, in the district of Donnersbach.<\/p>

Since 1908, the Hochalm has been utilized for tourism and loved by families, especially by children. It's more than just a ski area.<\/p>

We rented two BMW GS motorcycles from the friendly family and explored the area.\nVery good regional cuisine with a nice breakfast buffet and friendly service. Very quiet location. We are absolutely thrilled and can fully recommend the guesthouse.\nWe were able to park the motorcycles in the garage.\nBreakfast and dinner (half board) are delicious. Special requests are taken into account. You can put together your own snack pack for the road.\nThe hosts are very courteous, friendly, and helpful.\nThe rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom as well, of course.\nThe small sauna area is a dream \u2013 perfect after the motorcycle rides.\nAs a really minor point of criticism, one could mention that there is no elevator in the house. But that\u2019s just a small side note.\nThank you for the wonderful time with you. Keep it up!<\/div>

For me as a motorcyclist, the fun begins with the ascent to the Planneralm. 12km on a great Alpine road. You are warmly greeted by the owners and almost taken in like friends. Since we haven't been out much in the past few months due to Corona, we lack a bit of comparison, but we would like to highlight the truly genuine friendliness in the hotel. We felt very, very comfortable and can really recommend this place! The dinner (we had half board) as well as breakfast were excellent. The cleanliness of the room and dining areas was perfect too! We had a room with a very large bathroom. All in all, a unfortunately too short, but very nice stay!<\/div>
