As we are passionate motorcyclists and the guesthouse offers motorcycle rentals, we spent five wonderful days at Alpengasthof Grimmingblick. We rented two BMW GS motorcycles from the friendly family and explored the area. Very good regional cuisine with a nice breakfast buffet and friendly service. Very quiet location. We’d gladly return anytime. I can highly recommend it!

We stayed at Alpengasthof Grimmingblick for 3 nights during our motorcycle tour. We are absolutely thrilled and can fully recommend the guesthouse. We were able to park the motorcycles in the garage. Breakfast and dinner (half board) are delicious. Special requests are taken into account. You can put together your own snack pack for the road. The hosts are very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom as well, of course. The small sauna area is a dream – perfect after the motorcycle rides. As a really minor point of criticism, one could mention that there is no elevator in the house. But that’s just a small side note. Thank you for the wonderful time with you. Keep it up!

Review of the hotel kitchen for external visitors at dinner: the à la carte menu is rather small, but the dishes are excellent, freshly prepared, and served in generous portions. Additionally, the 3-course menu offered to hotel guests is also available to external visitors – advance reservation is absolutely necessary, both for a dinner table and the menu.

I would like to share my thoughts on the stay and location at Alpengasthof Grimmingblick with anyone interested. Let me start with the Alpengasthof and the wonderful people who dedicate themselves to the well-being of their guests. “Unique” is probably the most fitting word to describe it. Starting with the kitchen, which offers culinary delights of the highest class. The service is exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always eager to fulfill your every wish. The rooms are excellently equipped and kept in perfect condition every day by the housekeeping staff. The location of this ski area was simply perfect for us. Small and charming, with direct access to the slopes. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our holiday such a beautiful and memorable experience.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, perfect location right on the slopes. Despite the large capacity of the hotel, it is very quiet and offers guests perfect service with a "family feel".

Excellent for both motorcycling in summer and skiing in winter. For motorcyclists, there's a 12km winding mountain road to the guesthouse, and for winter sports enthusiasts, it's easy to get directly onto the slopes from the hotel without long ski hauls. Simply top-notch!

We have been going there regularly for many years and the anticipation is always immense. The food is great, the rooms are superb, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We feel more like friends than guests there. Couldn't be better. ❤️

For me as a motorcyclist, the fun begins with the ascent to the Planneralm. 12km on a great Alpine road. You are warmly greeted by the owners and almost taken in like friends. The food is fantastic, and the breakfast is really impressive. The rooms are good and have modern bathrooms. I have been here several times and am already looking forward to the next visit. To the owners: Thank you for the great hospitality and all the best for the little granddaughter, the parents, and of course for grandma and grandpa ;-).

Since we haven't been out much in the past few months due to Corona, we lack a bit of comparison, but we would like to highlight the truly genuine friendliness in the hotel. We felt very, very comfortable and can really recommend this place! The dinner (we had half board) as well as breakfast were excellent. The cleanliness of the room and dining areas was perfect too! We had a room with a very large bathroom. All in all, a unfortunately too short, but very nice stay!
